Position Overview :

BNL High School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls Varsity Tennis Coach to lead and develop our Girls Varsity Tennis team. The Girls Varsity Tennis Coach will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our tennis program working closely with student-athletes to enhance their skills foster sportsmanship and promote teamwork. Responsibilities :

• Coaching : Plan and conduct tennis practices focusing on skill development strategy and match tactics. Provide instruction on tennis techniques rules and match strategies to enhance players performance.
• Match Preparation : Analyze opponents strategize for matches and prepare the team for various tennis events and tournaments.
• Player Development : Offer players personalized coaching and feedback to help them improve their tennis skills mental toughness and understanding of the game.
• Attendance : Attend all team practices matches tournaments and other related events which may include occasional weekend travel.
• Team Culture : Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship teamwork discipline and respect for fellow team members opponents and the tennis court.
• Team Management : Assisted in organizing team events fundraisers and community engagement activities that supported the tennis program.
• Academic Monitoring : Monitor student-athletes academic progress and well-being offering guidance and support to ensure their success academically and athletically.
• Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to school and district policies regarding athlete conduct safety and eligibility.
• Logistics : Manage tennis equipment coordinate practice and match schedules and perform other logistical tasks related to the tennis program.
