Our Infrastructure Engineering & Operations organization builds and maintains Akamai's Platform, one of the largest distributed platforms in the world. The team is responsible for designing and developing networking software running on Akamai switches, routers and servers.

Partner with the best

Our team is responsible for developing software running on Akamai routers and Host Networking on our Cloud Compute Servers. You will participate in the full software development life-cycle of our cutting-edge networking devices, starting from designing software architecture, through development, testing and deployments. You will also contribute to network topologies and systems design.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for :

• Designing and developing software according to the highest standards
• Collaborating with various Akamai teams and industry partners
• Contributing to Open-Source software projects
• Learning about our distributed systems, products, and the technical stack that is necessary for your role
