Engineered Cooling Services (ECS), the Southeast’s leading commercial HVAC service provider, is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Estimator to join our growing Projects and Retrofit division. This role is ideal for a field-experienced professional who can bring practical insight, leadership, and precision to complex estimating opportunities—especially in the retrofit space. We specialize in energy-efficient solutions, large-scale retrofit projects, and exceptional customer service.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical HVAC Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate budgets and estimates for commercial & industrial retrofit projects. This position goes beyond takeoffs and spreadsheets—it requires deep understanding of how systems are built, practical knowledge of the field, and the ability to align closely with sales team members, operations stake holders, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze documents and site conditions to develop accurate labor and material estimates
• Lead estimating efforts for retrofit and tenant improvement projects in commercial / industrial environments
• Partner with operations, project managers, and sales leaders to ensure accuracy of estimates
• Prepare detailed scopes, vendor and subcontractor RFQs, and final proposals
• Attend site visits, walk-throughs, and pre-construction meetings as needed
