New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Assembly Technician for a 9-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation : $20.00 per hour Shift : M-F 6 : 15am-2 : 45pm Job Requirements : Assembly Technician is responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging. In this position, you will be a member of the Assembly and Logistics team within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of our client's products manufactured internally. Build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices. Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols. Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinating methods of delivery with suppliers and customers Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on-time delivery of goods. Basic Qualifications : 1+ years of assembly experience Great attitude and aptitude to learn new things. Should be comfortable with somewhat repetitive steps Able to lift 50 pounds Read and follow English language instructions Hand tool experience is a plus Able to work safely in a structured manufacturing environment Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New JourneyGenesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
