Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession : Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00-17 : 30 Hours per Shift : 10.5 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty License : Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : Minimum of an Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program. Call commitment is 1 week night and 1 weekend per month. Description : Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who perform diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist. They conduct invasive cardiology, non-invasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures. Through subjective data collection and recording, the technologist obtains information that leads to a correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis for each patient. Local candidates from ineligible counties are no longer being accepted. No floating to other units is required. The facility has a specific number of beds.
