Boston West Veterinary Emergency and Specialty is seeking a full-time experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our outstanding ICU team!

Compensation :

• $30 - $40 based on knowledge & experience.

About You : A highly skilled and experienced Certified Veterinary Technician who thrives in an ever-changing environment, equipped to stay calm and knows how to react quickly during life-threatening circumstances. What You'll Do :

Comprehensive Care : You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, and emergency cases.

Advanced Technical Skills : From collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the best treatment possible.

Critical Thinking : As a seasoned technician, you'll triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.

Empathetic Communication : Your compassionate communication style will shine as you educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.

Requirements :

CVT / LVT / RVT required

VTS preferred.

Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician, preferably in ER / ICU medicine.

Strong technical skills including   Department Specific Skills

Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members

Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
