Job Description : Registered Nurse, Oncology at Aspirus Wausau Hospital

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36

Shift Requirements : 12hr nights 7p-730a

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday

Float Requirements : Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks and will float before staff RNs

Job Requirements

Required Certifications : WI RN License and BLS

Chemo certification is required

Minimum Experience : 2+ years, with 1 year on MSO Unit preferred

Oncology experience required

Charting Experience : Epic preferred or previous electronic charting experience

Schedule Information

Shift Requirements : 12hr nights 7p-730a

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday

Float Requirements : Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks

Unit Specific Information

Patient ratio ranges from 4 : 1 or 5 : 1 on Days and PMs. Night shift is normally 5 : 1 but can get up to 7 : 1 (not common). Night shift will always have techs on. C.NAs are scheduled all shifts but may staff more RNs when C.NA not available.

Radius Rule : Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
