This role requires knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients. The RT must be able to provide age-appropriate care to a diverse patient population. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as industry standards of practice. There is no call schedule; the facility has 24-hour respiratory coverage. Under the direction of practitioners and supervision, the Respiratory Therapist provides therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary services. Services are provided in accordance with practitioner prescriptions and departmental policies.
