  • Location : St. Joseph's Hospital – Neuro / Trauma ICU – Tampa, Florida\n
  • Status : Full Time\n
  • Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM\n
  • Every 3rd weekend requirement\n
  • On Call : No\n

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License\n
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing\n
  • 2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting\n
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association\n
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association\n\nThe Registered Nurse – ICU Responsibilities And Skills\n
  • Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards\n
  • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team\n
  • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care\n
  • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.\n
  • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition\n
  • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients\n
  • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge\n
  • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient\n
