Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will assist in preparing orders for warehouse storage and organizing the warehouse per company or customer specifications for received orders. Will move, stock, scan, secure, and record inventory as needed. Will use hand and power tools, and powered equipment related to the storage or movement of items. Warehouse Associates at some locations will additionally perform custodial and / or detailing tasks.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Fuel diesel trucks arriving at the warehouse; keep appropriate logs for fuel dispensing.
• Move or re-position trucks as needed upon return to the warehouse.
• Wash / clean, shine, and / or detail tractors, trailers, forklifts, and company vehicles.
• Secure the facility and log incoming and outgoing movement of personnel.
• Assist in the construction and assembly of crates and custom storage containers using pneumatic hand tools.
• Adhere to safety practices with respect to self and others.
• Housekeeping and custodial duties for the warehouse, includes but is not limited to : sweeping, empty garbage cans, cleaning bathrooms and break room areas.
• Move machinery / equipment with various-sized forklifts, pallet jacks or other powered equipment as necessary for optimizing safety and organization.
• Verify incoming equipment or items for storage. Offload incoming equipment, inspect for damage, complete all related paperwork or logs.
• Retrieve stored machinery & equipment for load out on contract trailers or onto company vehicles.
• Tie down, strap and secure loads on company trailers.
• Perform inventory and inventory control functions.
• Maintain equipment / tool inventory in designated areas.
• Assist riggers and field personnel as needed with respect to equipment, tools and other needs.
• Complete all other duties as assigned or requested.
