Accounting Manager Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a manufacturing company in Golden, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting operations and financial management. If you have over seven years of experience and excel in areas like month-end close, general ledger management, and financial audits, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, including reviewing and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support audits and compliance.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Create and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide support during financial audits, addressing inquiries and preparing documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, encouraging attention to detail and growth.
