Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for night shifts and potential temp-to-perm opportunity.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based radiology OR department

Night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Temp-to-perm opportunity; local candidates will be reviewed first

Utilizes PACS, RIS, CIS, and SMS systems for image management and workflow

Perform all aspects of general diagnostic radiology following department protocols and procedures

Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment and protocol issues

Accurately verify patient demographic and exam information, including pregnancy status

Ensure quality assurance and timely transmission of images to PACS

Assist with patient care needs and respond to emergencies as appropriate

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Document procedures, incidents, and improvement opportunities appropriately

Expect a 2-week process for background check and drug screen reporting before starting

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program or Associate's Degree

ARRT certification in Radiography required; must maintain active registry status

BLS for Healthcare Providers required

License required if applicable
