Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,434 per week in Thief River Falls, MN

Job Title : RN - ICU / MS Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour day / night rotating shifts and weekend obligation Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : State RN license Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; experience with telemetry for acute care patients; competency in managing continuous IV medications; ability to perform procedures such as cardioversions and PACU care. Description : This position requires an RN who is trained and experienced in ICU settings. You will be responsible for monitoring telemetry for acute care patients. The nurse will assist with cardioversions and the management of continuous IV medications. You will work with various equipment including EPIC charting, Omnicell, Philips monitors, and ventilators. The nurse will work in a critical access hospital caring for both ICU and Med-Surg patients. Nurse-to-patient ratios will vary, with 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 for ICU patients and 1 : 3-5 for Med-Surg assignments. Weekend obligations include 2-3 weekends per 6-week schedule. There is no required call for this position. Floating to other departments may occur, and any additional skills in Obstetrics or Emergency Department nursing may be utilized. The facility is a 25 bed hospital that provides critical care services.
