Contract Analyst
The primary objective is to audit and input lease and retail contracts into the portfolio system daily with a high degree of accuracy. Responsibilities include verifying information accuracy, communicating reasons for inaccuracies, validating additional documentation to meet state and MBFS requirements, following processes, identifying inconsistencies, performing basic calculations, adapting to frequent changes, working in a fast-paced environment, and communicating with region and dealership personnel.
The primary responsibility of the Contract Analyst is to thoroughly audit retail and lease contracts submitted by Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the United States and Puerto Rico. This role involves the use of multiple internal systems to ensure the accuracy and completeness of contract documentation, enabling the funding of contracts, which in turn pays the dealership and establishes the customer's account. This is a production-driven position, and individual success is partially measured by the department's scorecard. Due to the complexity of the role, a strong willingness to learn and proactively ask questions is essential. While support is available, the position requires a high degree of independence. As such, individuals who prefer group settings with frequent interaction may find this role less suitable.
