JOB OVERVIEW

  • Service Setting : Outpatient clinic with limited hospital consults
  • Coverage Type : Clinical + APP Supervision
  • Coverage Period : Starting January 2, 2026 Ongoing
  • Clinical Shift Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
  • Coverage Details : 20 shifts / month (can be split between 2 providers, 10 each)
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental
  • Support Staff Available : 2 PAs (APPs) supervision required; RN & MA support
  • EMR System : Epic

PATIENT INFORMATION

  • Patient Demographics : Adults only
  • Outpatient Volume : per day (36 patient-facing hours / week)
  • Hospital Consults : 0 5 per month (phone consults during office hours)
  • Case Mix :
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis
  • Lupus, Scleroderma, Sjogren s Syndrome
  • Gout, Osteoporosis, Vasculitis, Myopathies
  • GCA, Temporal Arteritis, PMR, Sarcoidosis
  • Reactive Arthritis, Raynaud s Phenomenon, Wegener s Granulomatosis, Polyarteritis Nodosa
  • Positive ANA with systemic features (rash, joint swelling, pain, pleural effusion, pericarditis)
  • Procedures : Joint injections

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline : 90 days
  • Licensure : Active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC accepted)
  • DEA : Required
  • Certifications : BLS
  • Board Status : BC / BE in Rheumatology
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year
