Veterinary Assistant - Animal Emergency Clinic

Location : Grand Terrace, CA

Full-Time | Overnights, 4 / 8 hr shifts

Pay : $21–$26 / hour, plus $5 overnight differential

Located in Grand Terrace, California, Animal Emergency Clinic is a long-standing, AAHA-accredited emergency veterinary hospital proudly serving the Inland Empire for over 50 years. We specialize in after-hours emergency and critical care, with a plan to expand to 24 / 7 operations in the near future. Our beautiful, modern facility supports a high-quality, fast-paced veterinary experience where your skills will truly make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and RVTs with emergency procedures and patient care
• Perform blood draws, place IV catheters, administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery
• Support triage, diagnostics, and critical care treatment protocols
• Maintain patient records and ensure a clean, organized environment
• Collaborate closely with a passionate and experienced ER team
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with inquiries
• Check in patients efficiently and accurately
• Process payments and maintain financial accuracy
• Provide updates to clients on hospitalized patients ​​​​​​​
