Job descriptionProvides care to patients and families progressing towards individualized goals. Develops and implements nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Uses nursing process to safely and therapeutically care for patients. Evaluates patient and family progress towards goals and adjusts care plans accordingly. Identifies and addresses patient / family educational needs with individualized plans. Recognizes communication barriers and seeks interdisciplinary expertise to establish therapeutic relationships. Serves as patient advocate encouraging participation in decision-making and upholding rights. Communicates patient and family care needs through proper documentation. Delegates care to other healthcare team members within their scope of practice. Coordinates and integrates care with healthcare team to impact patient / family well-being. Communicates and coordinates with healthcare team and ancillary staff to expedite patient progress and workflow. Registered Nurse licensure in California required. Operating Room (OR) specialty
