Position Summary The Principal, People Insights & Coworker Listening Strategy is the enterprise leader of PG&E’s CX² initiative (Coworker × Customer Experience), Voice of the Coworker (VoC) programs, and all survey-based cultural measurement tied to PG&E’s CEO scorecard. This role defines and operationalizes PG&E’s listening system standards, oversees vendor partnerships, and drives end-to-end survey strategy—from concept to implementation to results activation. The Principal partners across the business to deliver insights that inform executive decisions, drive continuous improvement, and enable cultural transformation at scale. Job Responsibilities
  • Own strategy, standards, and execution of PG&E’s coworker listening ecosystem, including Joy Annual Survey, Pulse (Heartbeat), Always On, and Moments that Matter
  • Serve as the enterprise lead for CX², aligning coworker and customer listening to drive integrated insights and impact
  • Manage all vendor partnerships (e.g., Medallia), including scoping, contracting, delivery oversight, and continuous performance evaluation
  • Lead design, testing, deployment, and communications for all enterprise survey programs, ensuring consistency in voice, branding, and alignment with PG&E values
  • Translate feedback into executive-ready dashboards, visual management tools, and action frameworks
  • Manage continuous improvement of all listening-related workflows, standards, and support processes
  • Own end-to-end consulting, design, deployment, and data delivery for all CEO scorecard-related survey initiatives
  • Develop and deliver post-survey leadership enablement tools and communications—including results toolkits, action guides, and engagement planning templates
  • Serve as strategic advisor to senior leaders on the interpretation and activation of people data across the enterprise
  • Champion alignment between coworker experience (EX), customer experience (CX), DEIB, and PG&E’s True North culture strategy Qualifications Minimum :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in employee listening, people analytics, EX / CX strategy, or organizational effectiveness
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise survey programs and vendor partnerships
  • Expertise in survey design, deployment, and analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence at the executive level
  • High proficiency with survey and visualization tools (e.g., Medallia, Qualtrics, Power BI, Tableau) Desired :
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Background in change management, continuous improvement, or customer experience
  • Experience operating within unionized or operationally complex organizations

Summary : This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, Senior Project Manager position that requires mastery of the journey level Project Manager job duties. Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst PG&E’s “Propel” program is a multi-year major business and IT transformation initiative with the primary objective of moving from SAP’s ECC version to a ‘greenfield, clean-core’ SAP S / 4 HANA version for Finance, Human Resources, Environmental Health Safety, Supply Chain, Work & Asset Management. The PMO works collaboratively with leaders and others across the entire Program to forecast, manage, status, and mitigate issues with cost, schedule, resources, methodology and tools supporting several hundred internal and external resources. The Program is now entering its third year and transitioning from enterprise to detail design for the first of four major deployments. It is scheduled to complete in 2031. Key responsibilities of the PMO Analyst (focus will be Resource Management) : The Propel Program Management Office (PMO) Controls Analyst is responsible for a variety of activities around developing, maintaining, managing and reporting on resource plans to execute Propel. This role is responsible for working with the PG&E Propel leadership team, the System Implementation (SI) partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), SAP consulting, and others to plan and manage the project staff - current focus is on Release 1 and then will be for subsequent releases 2-4. There are over 1,000 positions being tracked as part of Propel which are being sourced by approximately 10 different internal and external companies.
  • Resource Management : Manage the project’s staffing plan estimates through engaging various teams to confirm existing members, forecast the type of resources needed, record changes up or down, clarify timing, and use change control processes if those plans change significantly. May be involved with collaborating with Contract Management team to validate adherence to staffing contracts.
  • Partner with the Portfolio On-Boarding / Off-Boarding Team : Provide on-boarding / off-boarding forecasts on a regular basis to help manage workloads. Develop summarized status reporting of on-boarding requests for resources currently in progress.
  • Resource Reporting : Work with Team leaders to report current and forecasted staffing levels at a leadership team level.
  • Collaborate with Financial Team : Provide detailed analysis of resource changes for accurate financial forecasting of Propel’s spend on a monthly basis.
  • Data Analysis : Utilize various data sources to analyze and report data as needed.
  • Meeting Facilitation : Schedule and facilitate resource management meetings using various materials to communicate and gather resource statuses to the various Propel teams.
