Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led and accountable 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician (MD / DO) to work full-time at its W. Emerald clinic .

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group W. Emerald is a busy, well-established practice located near the main hospital campus of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. SAMG W. Emerald has long established providers dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients. The clinic also includes an on-site Urgent Care, Orthopedic Urgent Care, digital x-ray and laboratory. The clinic utilizes the Epic for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry.

Support :

24 / 7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.

The schedule for this position is as follows : Traditional work week (M-F), 34 patient contact hours per week, 4-day work week available, reduced FTE available depending on physician preference. The call requirement is 1 : 30, phone only with excellent triage service.

Requirements :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME / AOA Family Medicine residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment).
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
