Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic team in Niagara County, Western New York. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive radiation therapy services, participating in multidisciplinary cancer conferences, and contributing to the overall excellence of our oncology program. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a beautiful region with a strong sense of community and convenient access to Buffalo and other major metropolitan areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning for cancer patients requiring radiation therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced radiation techniques (e.g., IMRT, SBRT, Brachytherapy, etc., customize based on available tech).
• Oversee patient care throughout the course of treatment, including daily rounds, symptom management, and follow-up.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and support staff.
• Participate in tumor boards and other clinical conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
• Potentially engage in clinical research or teaching opportunities, if desired.
