School Counselor / School Mental Health Worker

What You'll Do

Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.

Help students develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and school staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Facilitate referrals to community-based mental health services when needed.

Contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives that make a lasting difference.

Minimum Requirements

Licensing / Certification per state and facility guidelines.

Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Sociology, Addictions, or related field (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's as required).

Compliance with professional standards of practice.

Current CPR (if applicable).

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Must be at least 18 years old.
