About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience; 1 year of Cerner experience

License : Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Certifications : BLS, NRP

Must-Have :

Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsible for providing, delegating, supervising, and documenting care and teaching to patients and families.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to the health care team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions.

Demonstrates the ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Communicates effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
