Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Credit Analyst to join our treasury team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to inform credit decisions for assigned lines of business. This role will work closely with our commercial leaders and requires strong business acumen and understanding of credit risk management. This role will also be responsible for executing effective collection strategies for a select group of strategic customers and supporting other special projects as needed.

• Assess the credit worthiness of public and privately held companies through financial analysis, market data and other available information
• Partner with financial and commercial teams to understand and optimize reward / risk tradeoffs in counterparty relationships to drive decisions aligned with Eastman's risk philosophy
• Recommend and approve credit limits based on credit risk profile
• Leverage data, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline credit processes, improve risk assessments, and drive value-added insights
• Build and maintain relationships with counterparties to support credit risk analysis and credit negotiations

Prepare and present credit information and insights to business leaders during monthly commercial meetings to support strategic decisions
