JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This is an Instrument / Electrical (I / E) technician position in which the incumbent will perform basic and mid-level I / E craft tasks while receiving formal training and mentoring within the I / E organization. The incumbent may coach and / or mentor employees in the entry-level or trainee level of the I / E craft. The incumbent will be familiar with the safety requirements of the I / E crafts to be able to aid or lead in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, adjusting of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and analytical equipment within an industrial / manufacturing plant environment.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Understand and apply Industrial Safety requirements for the Instrument and Electrical crafts.
• Use common tools of the Instrument / Electrical crafts and electrical / electronic test equipment.
• Work on Instrumentation Calibration, Pneumatic Control Valves, and Process Control Loops.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and analytical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
• Properly document all repair activities and actively seek continuous improvement opportunities.
• Continuously acquire basic knowledge of processes involved in the production units.
• Promote safe and effective work, document work in SAP CMMS, and train and mentor others on precision maintenance principles.

REQUIREMENTS

Summary Compensation & Benefits :

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay Range : The Starting rate for this position is : $37.39
