Virginia Licensed LTSS Medical Director

A company is looking for a Medical Director Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct medical necessity reviews for LTSS / HCBS authorization requests

Ensure all reviews meet federal and state compliance timelines

Collaborate with internal clinical and administrative staff to support utilization management goals

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted Virginia medical license in good standing

Board Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)

Experience working with Medicaid and Medicare populations with complex health and social conditions

Strong understanding of LTSS and HCBS utilization management processes

Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
