Xometry is seeking a solution-oriented Team Lead for its Sourcing Department. This role involves leading a team of Sourcing Specialists and Coordinators to resolve the company's most complex manufacturing challenges, while also driving customer-first resolutions for its most complex projects. The Team Lead will provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to ensure efficient order placement, high-quality customer outcomes, and adherence to key performance metrics.

This role combines people leadership with technical problem-solving; customer and supplier negotiations; and strategic problem-solving within a rapidly growing department. The ideal candidate is a leader who is comfortable guiding others while balancing their own high-risk orders.

Day To Day :

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals throughout the order recovery process and provide coaching, direction, and real-time guidance as appropriate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced recovery strategies, supplier and customer negotiations, and provide support to overcome complex sourcing challenges.
• Prioritize escalations and redistribute your team's workload as needed to achieve the team's overall KPIs.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (Design Engineers, Manual Quoting Team, Sales, etc.) to coordinate recovery plans.
• Independently manage your queue of high-risk / high-visibility escalations.
