What You’ll Do :

• Own the Audit Process : Develop and lead internal audit strategies across business units and departments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Strengthen Internal Controls : Evaluate and refine financial systems and controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies.
• Champion Financial Quality : Build and maintain quality assurance frameworks that ensure precision in our books and transparency for our stakeholders.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Partner with operational and corporate leaders to provide advisory support and improve financial processes.
• Lead with Influence : Mentor and guide accounting and finance team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Support External Audits : Serve as the bridge between Polk and external auditors, ensuring seamless coordination and top-tier reporting.
• Drive Innovation : Challenge the status quo. Recommend process improvements, smarter tools, and more agile practices to stay ahead of the curve.
