Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,038 per week in Saginaw, MI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical / Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 PM - 7 : 15 AM) Experience : 2 years of experience required License : State License - Michigan Certifications : BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Med / Surg Observation Experience required Description : Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. Provides nursing care using the Nursing Process by completing nursing assessments of patients and documenting appropriately in the patient chart. Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of the patient. Implements the plan of care and documents in the chart. Evaluates patients' responses to care and updates the plan of care. Oversees the delegation of specifics of the patient plan of care to unit staff. Works with general medical / surgical patients including oncology, obstetrics, hospice, and others. Every other weekend and holiday availability required.
