About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required; must have completed 1 prior travel assignment.

License : Active state license required prior to start date.

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS and BSN preferred.

Must-Have :

• Experience in telemetry, intermediate care / stepdown, and management of dysrhythmias.
• Skills in starting IVs and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC).

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for an intermediate care unit.

The unit accommodates a variety of diagnoses including medical-surgical patients.

Our designated area handles thoracic surgery and averages 5-10 cases per week.

Other common patient conditions include GI bleeds, pneumonia, liver failure, and CHF exacerbations.

The unit has a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Standard charting will be conducted using an electronic health record system.

All employees must comply with vaccination requirements.

Candidates should possess skills in central line care, chest tube management, and medication protocols.

The facility provides interdisciplinary support services.

This role may require floating to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.
