Radiology Department Overview

Services Covered : Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, PET, DEXA

Worklist Platform : Merge Workflow Orchestrator (MWO) integrated with Fluency voice recognition

Average Volume :

ER Studies : 120–145 exams / day

Total Volume : 346–382 exams / day

Mammography : Mix of screening, diagnostic, and biopsy

Case Mix : Predominantly ER and inpatient (CT / X-ray heavy), outpatient MRI / US, and routine screening mammography

Coverage Model

Current Coverage : Remote coverage through a network of radiologists

Onsite Coverage : Required for mammography and fluoroscopy

Shifts Needed :

Day Shift : High ER and inpatient volume

Evening Shift : ER, inpatient, and outpatient coverage

Overnight Shift : ER / routine reads

Onsite Requirements :

Mammography (screening & diagnostic)

Fluoroscopy (contrast studies, procedures)

Comfortable reading a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies

Locums Logistics

Privileges : General Diagnostic Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Mammography (if applicable)

Onsite Requirements : Medical orientation and hospital credentialing

Remote Access : Merge Workflow

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist – Required

Active Florida Medical License – Required

MQSA-certified for Mammography (for daytime / onsite shifts) – Preferred

Comfortable reading a mix of ER, inpatient, and outpatient studies – Nice to Have
