Registered Nurse (RN) key responsibilities include but not limited to : Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process. To assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care. To administer and / or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician. To ensure safety and provide management and crisis intervention strategies. Patients served include children and adolescents.
