Service Setting : Hospital Operating Rooms and Offsite Anesthesia Locations
Coverage Type : Clinical Only
Coverage Period : 08 / 18 / 2025 Ongoing
Clinical Shift Schedule : MonFri; 10- and 12-hour shifts required; 20 shifts / month expected; NO 16s; occasional night or weekend shifts may be offered
On-Call Shift Schedule : None COVERAGE DATES
Start date August 18, 2025

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics : Adults only

Phone Consults : No

Case Mix : Total joints, bariatric, robotic, spine, urology, plastics, ENT, endoscopy, occasional IR or brachytherapy

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System : Epic

Office Equipment Available : Anesthesia workstations, OR and ENDO setup

Specialty Backup Available : MD anesthesiologists, SRNA students

Support Staff Available : Full anesthesia team, 1 : 3 staffing ratio

Reason for Coverage : Turnover Vacancy

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

Temporary Privileges Available : Yes

Credentialing Timeline : 90 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate : TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General CRNA duties in surgical and procedural anesthesia

Regional anesthesia experience a plus but not required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license required

Board : Board Certified CRNA

DEA : Not required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPR

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Must be willing to work 8- and 10-hour shifts; unwilling candidates will not be considered. Desire to integrate long-term with the department; participation in meetings encouraged

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver anesthesia care in 11 ORs, 2 ENDO suites, and occasional offsite locations (IR, brachytherapy)

Participate in cases including ortho, bariatrics, robotics, urology, ENT, and plastics

Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and SRNA students

Be available for occasional night or weekend shift fill-ins
