Job descriptionParticipate in multiple tumor boards, including breast, general, lung, and neuro Perform grossing duties with some exceptions Conduct frozen section procedures (most cutting performed by PAs) Oversee several EBUS procedures each week Provide offsite coverage for procedures at a smaller site 40 miles from the main campus Exclude bone marrow procedures, which are sent to another location Must hold or be eligible for North Carolina medical licensure Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Continuously learn and grow by adapting to various clinical environments, enhancing your skill set and versatility. About The Position
We are seeking a Pathologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, beginning as early as Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, two weeks per month. The role involves participation in multiple tumor boards, grossing duties, frozen section work, and offsite coverage for various procedures.
