Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Patient Population :   Cardiac, Nephrology, Hepatology, & Neurology

Patient Ratios : RN – 1 : 3 or 1 : 4

Clinical Support – 1 : 14 / 16

Number of Beds : 32 beds

Department Specifics :  The unit is fast paced and is the largest single unit at All Saints. We are the designated cardiac and stroke acute care unit; offering exposure to a variety of different patient populations, disease processes, and IV drips (to include but not limited to heparin, Cardizem, and dobutamine). Flexible preferred shift-scheduling is available.

Registered Nurse Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

1 YEAR MED / SURG / TELE EXPERIENCE – REQUIRED

ICU / PCU EXPERIENCE - PREFERRED

License / Certification

RN – Registered Nurse

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Successful EKG completion (within 30 days of hire)
