Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Trauma & Surgical Services

Location : Toledo, Ohio

Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is seeking a certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight coverage for Trauma, Surgical ICU, General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery services.

This is a DIRECT HIRE, full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner :

• Provide overnight in-house call coverage for trauma, surgical ICU, general surgery, and vascular surgery patients
• Respond to Level I and II trauma activations and conduct emergent surgical consultations
• Admit surgical patients requiring inpatient care
• Perform bedside procedures after training, including suturing, I&D, line placement, and chest tube placement
• Assist in the operating room as needed
• Manage urgent overnight floor calls and coordinate care with the attending physician
• Precept and educate students rotating on service as needed
