Are you passionate about patient care and ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? NSU (Nova Southeastern University) is hiring a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at NSU Health in Fort Lauderdale!

As a Medical Assistant, youll support daily clinic operations and assist physicians in delivering exceptional care. Youll play a key role in patient interactions, vital sign measurements, procedure preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

What Youll Do :

Interview patients and update health / medication history in the electronic health record (EHR)
Assist with medical procedures, exams, and specimen collection
Educate patients on services and next steps
Monitor supply inventory and maintain exam room readiness
Support a safe, efficient clinical environment

What Were Looking For :

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and CPR certification required

Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or recent graduate from an approved MA program

Experience with EHR systems and medical terminology

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Bonus if you have phlebotomy experience or familiarity with NextGen software
