Facility :

This is a 1,273-bed Magnet designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center that operates a high-acuity PACU with 38 patient bays open 24 / 7. The facility maintains an average daily census of 70-90 patients and features comprehensive specialty support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. The unit has its own PCT / transport team and recovers approximately 80% of patients who are admitted to the hospital after procedures, excluding open heart surgeries and liver transplants.
