IT / Mobile Equipment Specialist – Vance, AL

We are currently seeking a Mobile Equipment Specialist for a client in the automotive industry, specializing in car manufacturing.

This is a long-term Contractor role based in Vance, AL that requires onsite presence.

PURPOSE :

• Under general supervision this position is responsible for tracking, governance and agreement of services provided by the IT service providers with respect to but not limited to mobile service provider management, procurement and budgeting, asset and lifecycle management, as well as project management activities.
• IT manages Mobile Service providers to provide high quality service for lowest cost possible and best coverage across clients’ facilities.
• IT maintains the IT hardware inventory using clients standard software and coordinates the IT asset evaluation and adoption process for mobile devices.
