ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Job Summary

  • Ensure the accuracy of client invoicing and oversee AR including managing cash flow and escalating collection efforts as necessary.
  • Process weekly AP, including consultant payments, and present for approval.
  • Process bi-monthly payroll including 401(k), deductions, and bonuses through outside vendors.
  • Perform reconciliations and month end closing; prepare financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and / or opportunities.
  • Develop the annual budget, prepare variance analysis.
  • Maintain banking relationships.
  • Assist outside CPA firm with preparation of Annual Financial Statement Compilation and provide information for annual Federal and State tax filing.

    About YOU!

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years' accounting experience preferably with project accounting, AP, AR, and payroll.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with Deltek Ajera or similar project / accounting software a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $110,000 - $120,000 annualized, not including other competitive benefits.
