Summary :
The direct-to-consumer e-commerce team is looking for an experienced supply chain professional to develop both short-term and long-term forecasts and business plans for Mobile business. This candidate will be responsible for managing weekl y / m onthl y / q uarterly sales forecasts for both Quantity and Average Sales Prices with high accuracy using analytics and building models based on e-commerce sales drivers, promotional analysis, and category-specific business knowledge.
The individual is expected to be hands-on in preparing Sales forecasting and pricing forecasts and evaluating e-commerce sales drivers (Traffic, conversion rate), the impact of promotions on different sales platforms , and creating what-if scenarios to achieve business goals. The role also requires building PSI at the SKU level for assigned categories and working with the category t eam to align on the forecast and working with central PM and SCM teams to align on the supply plan and inventory management. The candidate should analyze pricing drivers and build an 'investment profile' based on pricing changes for assigned categories. A successful candidate is highly analytical with critical thinking skills and business savvy, adaptive, and able to work cross-functionally to influence sales and operations teams working towards a common goal in a highly matrixed, fast-paced organization. The position is located in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities :
Hands-on to build Sales forecasting using several variables (Traffic, Seasonality, multiple promos, etc.)Develop weekly / monthly / quarterly sales forecasts for quantity, sales price, and revenue and track Achievement rate KPIsPromotional analysis to develop forecasts, and average sales priceOwn and build PSI at SKU level for sellout, selling, shipment, and delivery along with inventory view each weekUpload forecasts into SCM systems accurately each weekDevelop long-term forecasts and NPI forecasts and upload them into the SCM systemTrack inventory arrival and movement to warehouseManage aging, confirm SOP, and manage all parts of the supply chain for assigned categoryDeep understanding of Mobile businessLead category calls and get alignment on sales forecast, demand, and inventory planWork with Category Management, Finance, supply chain, business operations, and logistics teams to deliver monthly revenueReview and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplementsApprove project and work breakdown structuresReview and approve the documentation of business processes.Approve project budgets and expenditures, and monitor transaction controls and costs against budgetsPredict potential budget overruns and offer solutionsConsult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, clients, and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposalsPrepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contact complianceRequirements :
6+ years of experience in e-commerce business planning, supply chain management, category management, and / or data and analytics-intensive roles with an emphasis on Quantitative AnalyticsBachelor's degree in Business / Economics or math / analytics / engineering is requiredAn MBA from a premier institute would be a plusHands-on with advanced Excel with attention to detail to integrate complex data to build forecasting and perform analysisExperience working with a large national retailer or carrier for consumer electronics would be a plusExperience in handling PSI for Mobile business will be a plusKnowledge of SQL / Tableau to pull historical promo data for analysis and statistical analysisKnowledge of ML / AI models for forecasting, pricing, and promotional analytics for business analytics will be a plusCreative thinker with excellent business acumen, analytical skills, and experience with statistical modelingHigh level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, and executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic, and proactive organizationAdaptability, using advanced preparation to quickly pivot throughout the weekExceptional presentation skills with good Microsoft PowerPoint capabilitiesExperience working with Consumer Electronics and / or National Retail is strongly preferredStaffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 40 1K, and Paid Time Off plus more!
