    Boston Networks is a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) specializing in all-inclusive technology outsourcing for small and mid-sized businesses. We deliver proactive IT support, security, and compliance solutions primarily through our remote Help Desk.

    • Position Overview
    • We are seeking an _

    • Experienced
    • _Support Technician to join our growing team. This role serves as both first point of contact for client support requests and an escalation point for challenging issues. It requires both strong technical troubleshooting skills, effective communication and exceptional customer service. _
    • This is not an entry level position.
    • The ideal candidate has direct work experience at an MSP or multi-client environment and is highly comfortable working within the Microsoft Admin Portal (Users, Entra, Exchange), troubleshooting the Office Suite, network Issues, and Active Directory user / group management.

      _This role is on site in our Stoneham office, this is not a remote position._

    • Core Responsibilities
    • Maintain professional, friendly, and helpful communication with all clients
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, LOB applications, and any critical client IT hardware or software
    • Maintain detailed notes and track time, while managing assigned tickets by priority and independently seeing them through to resolution
    • Collaborate with colleagues to provide the best customer resolution as efficiently as possible
    • Update and create documentation for clients and internal processes
    • Required Skills & Experience
    • 1+ years of IT support experience at a Help Desk or Service Desk. Preferably a multi-client MSP
    • 1+ Years Troubleshooting and administering Microsoft Suite : Office, admin portals, Windows, security, Outlook / Exchange, Active Directory
    • Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and subnets)
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Preferred Skills
    • ConnectWise PSA / RMM or similar ticketing systems
    • Server Administration
    • Advanced network troubleshooting
    • Firewall and router configuration
    • Sophos Endpoint and Network Hardware
    • Requirements
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on a ladder
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must pass a background check

      Pay : $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
