Job Summary and Responsibilities

Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is seeking an ABTS BC / BE Thoracic Surgeon. The ideal candidate will have broad training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive surgical techniques. New grads will be considered.

Compensation Range : $567,000 - $600,00 / Year

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
• Must have or be eligible for California State medical licensure
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital / surgical privileges at Dignity Health California hospitals
• A passion for providing excellent clinical care in a collaborative team-based setting
• Willing to abide by and promote the values of CommonSpirit Health

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. $272.00 - $288.00 / hour
