American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT-CT certification, and BLS for a 13-week travel contract covering both CT and X-ray duties.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a 56-bed inpatient rehabilitation and LTAC / ICU facilityPrimary responsibilities include CT and X-ray coverage, utilizing a GE 16-slice CT scanner, Siemens portable X-ray, and GE C-arm for studiesLow-volume setting with occasional floating between affiliated hospitals as neededSchedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMOn-call is required 2-3 nights per week with low call volumeMust be able to float within the hospital or to nearby facilitiesCharting is completed in Epic; experience requiredNo local candidates accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facilityMay float between the primary facility and affiliated hospitals as operationally neededDaily duties include performing CT and X-ray studies for a rehabilitation and LTAC / ICU patient populationScrubs of any color may be wornParking is free for staff and travelersAll modules and required onboarding must be completed before starting and annually thereafterHousing options may be limited in the area and should be considered prior to assignmentAll requested time off must be included at the time of application; post-offer RTO may not be accommodatedTravelers may only work a maximum of 1 calendar year and must take a 6-month break before returning for another assignment at the same facilityFirst-time travelers are accepted\n \n Requirements\n
Current BLS, ARRT-R, and ARRT-CT certifications requiredMinimum 1 year of recent experience in CTExperience with Epic EMR requiredAbility to cover both CT and X-ray imaging with GE and Siemens equipmentMust provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable settingWillingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelerTraveler must not have a permanent address within 50 miles of the facilityLicense required if applicableFacility only accepts Hepatitis B vaccination (titers or declination are not accepted)\n Benefits\n
