MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Scioto Woods Apartments - Chillicothe, OH

Burlington Capital Properties is currently reviewing applications for a Maintenance Technician at our Scioto Woods apartment community in Chillicothe, Ohio. We are seeking a qualified individual who takes pride and ownership in the work they perform and can provide friendly, quality service that our residents deserve. This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 : 30 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m., with on-call rotation on evenings and weekends (on-call schedule to be discussed during interviews). If you meet the basic requirements as outlined below, please apply here today!

DUTIES

• Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds per established procedures
• Regularly communicate with supervisor as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc.
• Complete vacant units to make ready status per established procedures
• Inspect all work performed by outside contractors
• Inspect and / or perform grounds maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal
• Continually monitor budgeted maintenance expenses
• Ensure that all Federal, State and County Health and Safety Codes, Laws and Standards are followed
• Regularly inspect laundry facilities, common area rest rooms, playgrounds, etc. to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness
• Maintain maintenance shop in a neat and orderly manner at all times
• Participate in resident functions as requested by Management
• Maintenance team members may be required to be “on call”

Job Requirements

Must provide your own basic tools to perform apartment / building maintenance.
