Position : Temporary Strong Readers Act Tutors - Certified (3 openings)

Reports to : Site / Building Principal and Reading Specialist / Literacy Coach

Supervises : None

Qualifications :

• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal : To provide intensive remediation in reading to students on Academic Progress Plans (RSA).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Visual Requirements : Close color peripheral depth perception ability to adjust focus.

Hearing / Speaking Requirements : Adequate to exchange information.
