Registered Respiratory Therapist Contract - Nights - $47.60 / hr.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY : \n \n\n \n

Provides routine, emergent and critical care under the direction of a physician to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

\n \n\n \n\n \n

• Delivers routine respiratory treatments and continuous respiratory therapy including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy and bronchial hygiene in accordance with applicable policy and procedure.

\n \n\n \n

\n \n\n \n\n \n

Monitors, instructs and coaches patient before, during and after treatment delivery. Prevents and / or resolves untoward side effects. Adjusts therapies according to protocol

Qualifications

\n \n

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

\n \n\n \n\n \n

\n \n\n \n\n \n

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED :

\n \n\n \n1 year of critical care experience\n \n\n \n

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :

\n \n\n \n

Must be registered (RRT)

\n \n\n \n

Current BLS / ACLS /

\n \n\n \n

Must have a valid Florida license issued by the Agency for Healthcare Administration of Florida.
