Job descriptionConduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of devices to verify functionality within the EPIC environment. Validate device connectivity, application performance, and workflow integration. Maintain accurate and detailed records of hardware deployment, configurations, and test outcomes. Create and update documentation for testing processes and troubleshooting steps. Coordinate with clinical and IT teams to schedule and perform testing activities. Provide guidance and hands-on support to end users during the testing process. Diagnose and resolve hardware or configuration issues quickly and effectively. Document issues and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement. Assist in developing and refining test scripts tailored to EPIC workflows. Execute testing scripts to ensure all systems function as expected before go-live. Support device readiness efforts, including hardware labeling, asset tagging, and inventory management. Strong proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting Windows-based systems and peripherals. Familiarity with networked device configurations and healthcare IT environments. Experience with EPIC or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly desirable. Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues independently and effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and clinical staff. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain thorough documentation of processes and findings. Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, maintaining a customer-focused approach. Previous experience in TDR roles, device rollout projects, or large-scale IT hardware deployments. Familiarity with hospital or clinical environments and understanding of end-user workflows.
CSI Companies is seeking 35 Field Support Technicians (TDR Support) to work with one of ourtop healthcare clients starting on January 5th, 2026! Location : Pittsburgh, PA & the surrounding areas
Travel : Will travel to different clinics / hospitals within a 50-mile radius
Duration : 3 - Month Contract
Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026
Pay : $28 / hour W2
Shift : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Description :
Overview As a Field Service Technician / TDR Tester, you will play a critical role in preparing healthcare facilities for a successful EPIC system go-live. This position involves deploying, configuring, and testing IT hardware and software to ensure all devices are fully operational and integrated with EPIC workflows. Key Responsibilities Device Deployment & Configuration
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices including computers, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Ensure all hardware meets technical requirements for EPIC system compatibility.
