High risk cardiology floor. Managing cardiac drips, TAVR, and post CABG / VATS patients. Required to do bedside shift report every shift. Cover all aspects of patient care. Perform hourly rounding on all patients assigned. Patient ratios of 1 : 5-6. Weekend requirement : Every other weekend. First-timers accepted. No on-call requirement. May float within scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedules : No. Additional requirements include cardiac drip management, sheath pulls, and central line management. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 40 staffed beds on this unit. EPIC charting system is required. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient demographic includes adults. Daily patient census is approximately 30. Patient diagnoses include cardiac telemetry, with a mix of medical issues and underlying cardiac conditions. Additional special equipment includes BiPAP, chest tubes, and post-CCL devices. Compliance deadline for submissions is 3 PM CST on the Monday of the week before the initial start date. No medical marijuana cards accepted. References may be required prior to submission. Please indicate if interested in longer travel contracts. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Modules are billable and required for RNs and LVNs. Modules should be started within 1 week of signing the contract, and must be completed 2 Fridays prior to the start date to avoid delays.
