Audit Manager

A company is looking for an Audit Manager to lead a team of auditing professionals and ensure high-quality audit processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise a team of performance auditing professionals and review their work products for quality and compliance Design and oversee audit plans and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) Provide technical expertise in federal rail transportation and performance audits while advising on significant developments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; accounting degree preferred Minimum 4 years of accounting, auditing, or related technical experience Experience in federal performance audits and management / leadership roles Project management experience Knowledge of Government Accountability Office's (GAO's) Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) preferred
