Job Purpose : The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of process manufacturing equipment and support systems within assigned areas. Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime and take call-ins as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively troubleshoot and repair designated equipment.
• Ability to prioritize information and tasks within your assigned area.
• Troubleshoot failures and upsets on plant equipment, including pumps, motors, rotating equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Conduct inspections, lubrications, and diagnosing trouble sources in machinery and equipment.
• Repairing / modifying or replacing new and existing plant equipment.
• Planning and laying out work, interpreting blueprints, manuals, and other specifications.
• Safely use a variety of tools and equipment associated with completion of varied work assignments.

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work Monday- Friday during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
